Enrollment:  Your space in the class will be confirmed with payment.

Payments:  Payments must be made in full prior to the start of the class.  Payment ensures your place in the event.

Inspire Labs currently offers these payment options:

  •  e-mail transfer via info@InspireLabs.ca
  •  Cash
  •  Visa, MC, Amex
  •  Cheque (payable to Inspire Labs)

If Inspire Labs receives notice from the bank of an NSF cheque, the following apply:

  • Full payment of outstanding fees are immediately owing
  • An additional charge of $25.00 will be added to the payment amount
  • The registration of the child will be void until full payment + the additional $25.00 fee are both paid.

Refund & Cancellation Policy: Inspired Labs will refund in full up to 10 days in advance. Within nine days of the lab, we will refund less 10%, and less than 48 hr notice will not be refunded.  Due to the cost of materials purchased in advance, we can not accommodate last minute cancellations. However, you may find a friend who can take your spot, but you MUST confirm the change prior to the event.

Inspire Labs reserves the right to reschedule labs as required and must inform members at least 48 hours before the scheduled class. Make up labs will be offered in this circumstance. Requests for cancellations or refunds must be made in writing and submitted to Inspire Labs for review.

Refunds are not granted for inclement weather, late arrivals or for inability to attend. Refunds will not be issued in instances where the child is removed from the lab at the choice or request of the child, parent/ caregiver, or is dismissed from the class for contravention of ill behaviour.

Arrival/Departure:  It is imperative that parents/ caregivers ensure that the staff in the room/ event are aware that the child has arrived for the lab by signing in.

If you will be late for your scheduled event, please notify us as soon as possible. In these circumstances please be prepared that the door of the class may be closed on commencement of the event in order to avoid distractions.

Parental Involvement:  Inspire Labs values parents and caregivers as partners.  Adult participation is welcomed, however, not required.  The lab leaders can and will remind adults that labs are designed for the students, and the caregiver may be asked to sit on the sidelines if disruptive to the lab.

Photograph and Video Consent:   We ask our student participants to smile for the cameras.  Inspire Labs reserves the right to use photographs and video for the purpose of promotional material. By participating you are agreeing to you and your child being photographed unless otherwise indicated in writing.   We will do our best to remove/ delete photos as requested.

Cell phone and Camera Policy:  Inspire Labs recognizes that visitors may wish to have their personal mobile phones with them for use in case of emergency. However, the safeguarding of children within the setting is paramount and it is recognized that personal mobile phones have the potential to be used inappropriately and therefore mobile phones and cameras should only be used away from the children, off site or in another room. Parents are, however, permitted to use cameras to take still photographs of their own child.

Visitors remain responsible for their own property and will bear the responsibility of any losses.

Food & Beverage Policy:  At Inspire Labs, we understand that children may require a snack to keep them happy, alert, and engaged!  We encourage snacking before and after class. Student’s safety is paramount to us at Inspire Labs and in order to minimize the spreading of germs, and eliminate the risks associated with allergies, we require that you remove your child from the physical space while they are eating or drinking. Water is always welcome.

Confidentiality:  It is our policy to respect the confidential data of the students and families enrolled in Inspire Labs. Your student’s development, medical and personal information will not be shared. Inspire Labs associates will not divulge your phone number or email address to other parents, individuals, companies or other organizations without your expressed interest and consent.

Illness or Accident:  If your student becomes ill or gets injured while attending Inspire Labs, the staff will endevour to provide or assist with immediate first aid. If the situation is deemed serious staff may assist in an emergency procedure. For clarity, the staff may assist the student, but may not execute an emergency procedure.

The Inspire Labs or its owners and teachers assume no responsibility for the direct care of the student while they are attending the lab. (Please see Limitations of Liability section, below).

Limitations of Liability:  Inspire Labs staff will make every reasonable effort to minimize exposure to known risks, however, neither the Inspire Labs nor its staff, instructors or volunteers are licensed medical care providers and have no expertise in determining the effect of any specific program such as an exercise program, or equipment on a medical condition.

You must understand and agree that in registering for a Inspire Labs event and/or using any of their equipment or facilities, you and/ or your child may be involved in physical activity and that with any physical activity there is a risk of injury. By participating in Inspire Labs events and/ or using any Inspire Labs equipment or facilities, you agree that you are participating voluntarily and do so at your own risk and you agree to fully release the Inspire Labs and its officers, directors, agents, staff, instructors and volunteers from all claims or lawsuits for any injuries, death, property damage or theft, losses, or any other liability of any kind, arising directly or indirectly out of your, or your child’s participation in the Inspire Labs and/ or use of any Inspire Labs equipment or facilities.
